Musician Grenade has revealed that he has been friends with Davido for a long time, and the Nigerian award-winning musician attempted to include him in his team.

He explained that when Davido came to shoot his video with Pallaso, he fell in love with Grenade's character and asked Chameleon to take him to Nigeria.

"Davido adopted me when he came to shoot his videos with Pallaso. I was still on the streets, and at times I would sleep at Pallaso's place. Davido likes my character and asked Chameleon to take me to Nigeria, but he failed," Grenade explained in an interview with a local television station.

Grenade, however, says he is still in talks with Davido, and they often chat via Instagram.
