Zendaya Showcased Her Fashion Versatility At The Met Gala, Stunning In Three Distinct Ensembles That Pushed Boundaries

For her third appearance at the 2024 Met Gala on May 6, Zendaya concluded the evening with a stunning gown and a striking absence of eyebrows.

Co-hosting the prestigious event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, she donned a custom beaded white gown by Celia Kritharioti, accentuated with a plunging neckline and droplet earrings. Her hair was elegantly styled in a low bun, complementing her natural makeup.

Zendaya’s final ensemble for the night, worn during the soirée indoors, was notably more subdued compared to her earlier bold choices.

Opting for a Maison Margiela mermaid-cut gown adorned with hummingbird details and poison ivy, her attire seamlessly aligned with the “Garden of Time” theme of the “Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion” exhibition.

Her initial outfit, crafted by her longtime fashion collaborator Law Roach, featured a veiled fascinator and a maroon makeup palette, drawing inspiration from John Galliano.

The actress captivated onlookers with her second ensemble of the evening, a black 1996 Givenchy dress designed by John Galliano, boasting a floor-length train and an intricately embroidered corset bodice. She accessorized with a floral bouquet headpiece from Alexander McQueen.

Despite Zendaya’s flawless execution of each look at the Met Gala, Law Roach disclosed that their hectic schedule had somewhat overshadowed the event’s preparations.

“I haven’t seen Zendaya’s dress!” he admitted to The New York Times in an interview published May 2. “We’ve been on two press tours—Dune 2 and Challengers—and doing two Vogue covers.”

“The dress isn’t even made,” he explained. “They won’t fit until Saturday.”
