Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan made their red carpet debut official! The 24-year-old singer and 31-year-old actor posed together as they arrived at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday, May 6th.

They appeared joyous as they posed for a photo at the Costume Institute Benefit, with Sabrina cozying up to the Irish actor as they reached the top of the event’s stairs.

The evening’s dress code, “The Garden of Time,” was perfectly embodied by the couple, making their red-carpet debut feel like a fairy tale. Sabrina wore a black strapless dress with a long light blue skirt and a trailing train, designed by Oscar de la Renta.

Meanwhile, Barry sported a brown suit paired with a top hat, adding a vintage touch to his ensemble.

Sabrina shared additional photos from the event on her Instagram, including a nod to her hit song “Espresso” in the caption “I’m working late.”

Romance rumors surrounding Sabrina and the Saltburn actor surfaced when they were spotted dining together in December 2023.

Although the pair didn’t publicly confirm their relationship status, there were subtle hints suggesting they were an item, such as Barry’s affectionate emojis on Sabrina’s SKIMS campaign photos.

Prior to their red-carpet debut, Sabrina dropped a significant hint about their relationship during her Coachella performance in April. While performing her song “Nonsense,” she referenced a viral scene from Barry’s film Saltburn in her outro.

“Made his knees so weak he had to spread mine/He’s drinking my bathwater like it’s red wine,” she sang to many cheers from the crowd. She ultimately ended the outro though with a promise to return to the desert someday for a bigger set. “Coachella, see you back here when I headline,” she closed the line.
