Kylie Jenner Appears Poised For Her Wedding #Metgala

After three hundred and sixty days since last year’s Met Gala, dedicated to the late Karl Lagerfeld and his expansive design legacy, Anna Wintour, along with her co-chairs and their esteemed guests, graced the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art to honor this year’s exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

Among the attendees was Kylie Jenner, who made her entrance towards the end of the red carpet proceedings in a gown reminiscent of a wedding dress, albeit a unique departure from the Off-White style she wore to the 2022 Met Gala.

Designed by Oscar de la Renta, the custom ivory double-faced satin dress boasted padded hips, a cone bra, and a cinched-in corset waist, collectively lending Jenner’s ensemble a vintage charm.

Vogue noted that the ensemble paid homage to the garden statues referenced in “The Garden of Time,” the J.G. Ballard short story that inspired this year’s Met Gala dress code.

Completing her look, Jenner paired the dress with off-white slingback pumps and, for the journey from The Mark Hotel to her car, a matching double-satin shawl. Adorning her updo were ivory and pink roses, adding a delicate touch to her ensemble.
